First Date Outfit Ideas feat. Lilia Cortes

I'm wearing:
1. Blazer with zipper in blue, from Asos. 2. Graphic t-shirt, from Lefties. 3. Super skinny jeans in light blue, from H&M. 4. Mortimer blue suede boots, from Frank Wright. 5. Wrap-up leather bracelet, from Coach. 6. Black ring, from H&M.
Hey guys! Since this month is about giving some advice and stuff like that I wanted to give you some tips on how to dress for a first date, you know, with Valentine's Day coming soon. I teamed up with my fellow blogger Lilia Cortes to give you some his/her ideas. But first things first, you should ask your crush out on a date, really, be courageous. Haha. We both chose outfits that are pretty safe to secure a second date, so listen up!
The first tip: don't overdo/overthink your outfit; choose something that shows you made an effort but also keep it cool and real. Secondly, show a bit of personality, add some accessories or something that really shows off a bit of your personality. Three: Wear pieces that make you feel comfortable and confident, make sure clothes don't make you extra nervous, therefore, don't make any big risks, leave that for the 3rd or 4th date.
I chose a blazer with a simple t-shirt underneath, skinny jeans and boots. I didn't know where we would go but I assume that it wouldn't be too fancy and, also, it was daytime. For a date at night, I would probably change the jeans for black slacks and, if we're going to a restaurant or something, the t-shirt would be replaced by a shirt or sweater. I wanted to add accessories because I'm a big accessory kind of guy and I just wanted to give a sneak peek of that.
Take all these ideas and ponder if they work for you. There's no perfect formula to a date, so just try to look your best, be a complete gentleman and I'm sure you'll do fine. To see Lilia's version of this post, go to her blog by CLICKING HERE and follow her on Instagram too!
// ¡Hey amigos!
