DIY door snakes

So the holidays are over and it’s just plain cold outside. Anyone else feeling that way? During this time of year (at least around here), we hunker down. With the new house it seems like we have an endless number of projects, and winter is a great opportunity to take advantage of time indoors. Or really I just have to keep myself entertained so I don’t go stir-crazy (not to mention cure the winter blues).

In an effort to stay warm, I love using door snakes to keep out the cold air. It’s a super simple project that can be made custom for windows, doors, or any drafty spots in the house. Plus, it’s a way to save money and stay warm, which is all I really want in January, anyway.

I’m over on The Neighborhood sharing a DIY door snake round-up if you’re interested…

Stay warm, friends!
