Beyonce In The Must Have Topshop Sequin Dress

We all know celebrity sells & when you have a real heavyweight of a celebrity such as Beyonce behind your brand & product it's sure to be a total success. The highest paid woman in music this year recently attended the Topshop Flagship store opening in NYC wearing a simple yet stunning Topshop sequinned LBD, looking absolutely fabulous.
With all the furore in the British press it was only out of curiosity that I decided to click on the link to the dress to find out more...

I was pleasantly surprised to find a). the dress was in stock (it's still early in the season for partywear afterall) b). The dress only costs £68 bargain! & c). it looked even more amazing on the Topshop model! Let me explain point c). to you a little further...I prefer the fit on Topshop website model - more of an A line shift vs the more bodyconesque fit on Beyonce. I also loved that it was worn with ankle boots & immediately thought my patent boots would be perfect to re-create this look. Add my white faux fur coat (not yet seen on the blog) & I have my perfect party look.

It's the sort of dress that will become your go to party piece in seasons to come when you have one of those "ooooh what shall I wear" moments - it's non offensive, figure flattering & won't really date. Get it before it goes...here (UK) & here (US) you have been warned!
