Maternity Style - 28 Weeks Pregnant

“Quick, the sun’s out, let’s take some outfit photos!” I shouted loudly on a sunshiny evening this week. My husband dutifully obliged and we hastily dashed into the garden to capture some outfit shots for this week’s maternity style post.

The top is a fairly recent purchase from Mothercare. It’s the first item from their Blooming Marvellous maternity range that I've bought, but it’s unlikely to be the last! The top ties at the back and sits snugly over your bump showcasing it proudly. Normally I’m a size 14, but I actually ended up getting this top in a size 16 as I felt it was a little on the small side and I wanted to ensure that I could use it throughout my pregnancy.

The cardigan is the beige equivalent of the black version I wore for my first maternity post. Both from TU at Sainsbury’s, they make the perfect cover up as we wait for the warmer weather to firmly set in.

My jeans are my ‘under the bump’ maternity skinnies from New Look, I've been getting plenty of wear out of them over the past few weeks and I’m considering buying a second pair as a result.

The espadrilles are also from Sainsbury’s, they’re the third pair of shoes I've bought recently... don't tell my handbags I'm cheating on them with shoes. I particularly like Sainsbury's shoes as they tend to be quite wide-fitted, which is great when you have hobbit sized feet that are almost as wide as they are long!

My bag is Michael Kors and a Christmas present to myself (?!) using a voucher I had for my-wardrobe.com. I've wanted a Selma ever since my friend visited back in October last year and brought her gorgeous purple one with her. It’s such a classic shape and the monochrome colour scheme will ensure I get many years of use out of it.

Lastly my bracelet is from J.Crew, it was a 30th birthday present and something that I really need to start wearing more frequently!
