Maternity Style - 36 Weeks Pregnant

I questioned the wisdom in posting this particular maternity outfit. I'm not sure the word 'style' necessarily applies, but I wouldn't be able to describe this series as a genuine record of my maternity outfits if I didn't include one of me wearing a pair of maternity PJs!

Before I finished work to go on maternity leave I would get home in the evening and top of my list of priorities was slipping into a set of my maternity pyjamas. As comfortable as maternity leggings and jeans are, they don’t provide quite the same relief as these after a long day on your feet or in the office.

Since there was no real opportunity to accessorise this outfit, I thought I’d accessorise using the nursery as a backdrop instead. My breastfeeding chair is just one of the items I’m looking forward to testing out when baby arrives, it’s wonderfully comfortable and I’m hoping it will prove to be as useful.

These particular pyjamas are from La Redoute, I own the same pair in two different colours as well as a cropped design - that is the only thing keeping me sane during the current heatwave.

Last week I also took the opportunity to get my hair cut and coloured before baby H makes his/her arrival. Although I’d asked for it to be made slightly darker and nearer my natural hair colour, I somehow still ended up with blonde highlights… I don’t think my hairdressers can cope with the idea of darker shades in the summer months!
