Friday, Friday, Friday

This week has been a whirlwind although nothing much has really happened that would explain why I feel like I'm standing at the end of the week with roller coaster hair. I am definitely ready for a little break this weekend and then a ridiculous busy week next week that involves setting up, going to, and helping take down for the Charity Ball for the Junior Service League. I am excited to see it all come together and enjoy a night with Michael. But until then, YAY for the weekend.

ONE. Michael comes home!!!! He hasn't been gone that long but our house just doesn't feel the same when he's not here hogging the TV or coming in from late night shifts. I'm looking forward to doing absolutely nothing (well besides a family session) all weekend.

TWO. Blinds = adulthood. I have a giftcard that has been burning a hole in my wallet but I couldn't figure out what I wanted. Until yesterday when I walked into our 2 spare bedrooms and caught a glimpse of our maroon and green blinds. I mean, why people...maroon and green...I just don't get it. I've put up with them long enough. Out with the old, in with the new blinds.

THREE. FitBit. I am obsessed. I wasn't sure which one I should get, if I really needed the heart rate monitor, and if it was really worth the money. Well, it was and I'm obsessed. It's like a game trying to meet my step goal of 10,000 every day and I even beat my friends at a challenge on Wednesday. It definitely keeps me motivated by tracking my sleep, my water intake, the foods that I eat, and my daily calorie burn.
FOUR. I feel like this year has already been a year of growth for me. My word this year was evolve and I feel like every day, I am doing just that. I took a big jump of faith and applied for a job that I am pretty sure I won't actually get and would be perfectly happy to stay exactly where I am, but it was exciting to actually think about ways that I could put my masters degree to good use. I'm excited for the experience of the interview and looking forward to learning more about if it's something I can see myself doing.

FIVE. I had an engagement sessions last weekend that was just the best. This is one of my favorite shots of the couple. They seriously are just so in tune with each other and laughed together throughout our whole session. It is such an amazing experience to get to capture that kind of love in photographs and see it come to life in the pictures I take.
I hope you all have an amazing weekend filled with rest, relaxation, and even some fun squeezed in there. Happy Friday friends,
