Ohhhh Hi there!

No, your eyes have not deceived you. It's me, sitting here staring at my computer screen trying to figure out exactly what brought me back to this little blog of mine tonight. I left pretty abruptly so let me fill you in.
I started this blog to write. I was in need of an outlet to share my thoughts that didn't belong on facebook or were possibly too long for one little status update. I started writing and then met some fabulous ladies through it all. It brought so many great opportunities and so many wonderful people who I will be forever thankful for. I've learned so much from just typing out my feelings. I feel more aware and even more alive than when I first started the blog and began writing. Something about coming to this space, sharing my thoughts, my ups, my downs, and my all arounds with you all has been liberating, soul-reviving, and just plain fun. I've met some great, life long friends, some of the best encouragers, and just all around amazing women who I have loved sharing my little life with.

I was overwhelmed with the sweet emails when I set my blog to private of well wishes and concern. I hated to be so dramatic about it and just not show up one day but I was up to my eyebrows and just needed to step away and breathe. I can't complain for a second because the things going on in my life are so rewarding and positive and just make me so happy but I also felt like something was missing not getting to come here and chat with you all on a daily bases. School is getting extra busy, as state testing has snuck up on us in exactly 19 school days (not like I'm counting). I photographed my first wedding this past weekend and am still alive to talk about it afterwards. I have other weddings booked for May, June, August, November and even next March. My June is completely booked full of fun sessions and I just couldn't be happier. There is something so liberating about taking a hobby to the next level and reaching for dreams you thought could only be dreams. Michael and I are still here, enjoying life with Tilly, ready for some boat time once it is back from the shop. And that's about it. So dramatic right?! I guess it's safe to say that life got in the way and I loved every minute of it.

I'm not sure what is in store for this blog of mine. I love everything about it and the people it has brought into my life but the pages of my book are turning to a new chapter and I'm not sure how to incorporate it all together. Maybe at some point I will get it all figured out. Until then, I just wanted to pop in and say hi and thank you. Thank you for following along, some of you since the very beginning. Thank you for always encouraging me, lifting me up, and becoming my friends. Happy Wednesday eve friends. Be happy!
