I remember being little and I remember my mom (beautifully) braiding my hair. She used to make me those french braids only moms can do that fast and that pretty. When I was old enough to brush my hair, (unfortunately) those braids got out of my sight. From that moment on, the most elaborate hairstyle I’ve ever made is a simple ponytail…

After all that time, and after seeing too many beautiful braids, I finally tried to make one myself. Okay, it’s really not a big deal, but this is one of those small things that make us happy… That, and fallen leaves on the paving stone.

Recuerdo cuando era pequeña, y recuerdo a mi madre haciéndome esas (preciosas) trenzas que sólo las madres saben hacer tan bien y tan rápido. Cuando fui mayor para peinar mi propio pelo y arreglarme, esas trenzas (tristemente) desaparecieron de mi vista. Desde ese momento, el peinado más complicado que me he realizado ha sido una simple coleta…

Después de todo este tiempo, y después de ver tantas y tan bonitas trenzas, he decidido finalmente intentar una por mi misma. Está bien, no es para tanto, pero es una de esas pequeñas cosas que nos hace feliz cada día… eso y las hojas que caen y hace de esta época un momento mágico.
