Weekend Open House: The Claridge #15B

This condo holds a very special place in my heart! It is actually a bittersweet feeling to list it. It has been passed through my family starting with my sister, Kim, to me, then to my brother, Kirby. It is now time to say goodbye and sell it! It goes in MLS next week, but I thought it would be fun to spread the word in advance and see if we get any nibbles.
It was purchased as a two bedroom condo and my sister gave it her magic touch with renovations that turned the 2nd bedroom into a formal library and a cozy media room.

Just looking at this sign makes me happy and brings back good memories. The Claridge has an incredible reputation for its impeccable service and tip top security.

I loved having all these drawers and this counter space in the dressing room for accessories. It is adjacent to "her closet" and a "his closet" is right around the corner. Lack of closet space is certainly not an issue here.

This is the "her" side of the master bathroom. I loved having the sit down vanity to do makeup every morning.

The terrace is accessible from the breakfast room and the living area. It was always fun to sit out here for dinner on beautiful nights or reading the paper with a coffee while watching the sun rise.

This is the view from the terrace over Turtle Creek.

This is the entry foyer. The front door would actually be on the right of this photo. There is a powder bath to the right of the console table and of course the living room is on the right.

This is the living room and the formal dinning area.

This photo was taken from the entrance of the kitchen, basically standing in the formal dining room. the entry way is on the left side and as you walk down the hallway on the far end of the photo you find the media room, library, and master bedroom.

Here is another angle. The kitchen is through the door you see on the back corner.

Here is the media room. We had a great cozy sofa under the two lights and a huge TV on the wall across from it.

Here is the library. This is where I did all of my studying. A computer desk and work space is hidden behind the cabinets you see on the right.

Here is the kitchen- I can assure you knowing the cooking skills in my family that the appliances were not used very often! There was room for a large breakfast table on the far end, and the fridge and oven were behind the photographer in this photo. A large butlers pantry area would be to his left, and a massive laundry room behind him.

Master Bedroom
The list price in MLS will be $630,000 for sale and $4,850/month for rent.
