Avery's School Picture

Last year I was soooo excited for Avery's first school picture. I just thought it was so cute and charming. I was disappointed and weirded out.

I dressed her all cute and did her hair and a week later when the pictures were back I saw my kid, but she was wearing a dress we don't own and her hair was slicked back cousin Vinny style.

I asked the daycare and they said that that photographer group would dress the kids up and primp them for the pictures. And that there was a daycare person in there at all times, so nothing weird happened. Um that redressing my kid is super weird. Anyways, I lost my shit and told them to not include Avery next year if they were using those weirdos.

Cue this year. New photographer!!! However, I mixed up my dates and that was a morning where I have to work at my company's downtown office and I did not get Avery ready that morning. Which resulted in . . . . she had on a 3t shirt with a panda bear on it and polka dot sleeves paired with 3t leggings that also had polka dots (but not matching ones). Her hair was also messy.

Side note- Ray is not terrible or color blind, there are mornings where the only way to get out the door is let Avery choose her outfit. This is what she chose and he didn't realize it was picture day, so he went with it.
