around town: kayabacho, tokyo

We found a really cute little neighborhood/ suburb of Tokyo with a very charming pre-war, old timey feel. We were actually on a mission to find
a christmas tree at a garden center that we had found and called ahead of time, but once we got there all they had available were basically large
pine branches for like $60 a pop. We made the most of wandering around instead, and found some incredibly picturesque alleyways, some great street
food from some stands, and the cutest, tiniest, and most inventive bakery I have yet to encounter.

Another reminder why to always take the back and side streets.
love, from Japan,
