Spring Vibes: Lighter Hair & Old Jeans (Kitties + Couture)

Spring is here in San Francisco (well, we never really had a winter) and the sunshine inspired me to go just a tad bit lighter with my hair – and, my gosh, I kind of love it. Coloring my hair is still a pretty big deal to me, as the first time I colored it was only 7 months ago, so for someone who has had dark brown hair for almost 30 years, this is quite a change. A huge, huge thank you to my stylist, Brian, at Population Salon for his amazing work. And congrats to them for opening up their second salon in the Mission! Local SF girls and guys, check them out – you won’t be disappointed!

Another thing I love about spring? The fact that I can pull out these jeans again. They’re about four years old and I’m still obsessed with them. It’s probably because they’re so long that I have to wear my highest platforms (5 inches high), causing my legs to look extra long (and leaving my co-workers wondering how I grew so much overnight).

PS: Behind the smile is a girl that got hit with a really, really bad cold/flu/bronchitis (really not sure what it is because I’m kind of bad about seeing a doctor unless I’m extremely, extremely ill). I had to stay home for half the week last week and I’m still coughing up some pretty nasty things a week later. Kind of makes me wonder if I should have gotten the flu shot after all…
