Wardrobe Wednesday - Long Sleeve Dress

Thanks to everyone for your lovely comments on last week's latest thrift shop find - a gap strapless floral dress. I am loving it too - so much so I'm might wear it to hubby's work Christmas party this week :)

As for Wardrobe Wednesday this week, I thought we could share ideas about transitioning your wardrobe between the seasons. This is a key skill that before this blogging lark I did not have a clue about. Previously I put away all my dresses/skirts as soon as the first peak of cold weather came and I stuck with jeans for the other six months of the year.

I thought for something different, I'd show how I've worn this long sleeved chiffon dress in winter (remember it is temperate in NZ - and the rest of the day I wore a jacket over top) and now in summer (I say summer because we are in a heat wave and spring seems to have completely passed us by!) - global warming is real everyone!

When I bought this dress back in Aug (Shanton thank you very much) I had loads of ideas of how to wear it. I still think it would look great with a belt... and probably an iron or to be hung up! The best comment I got wearing it this time was a friend who said "I love beads that look like lollies".

This week's lady to inspire you and me is Agi from VodkaInfusedLemonade, is also a very talented trans-seasonal dresser. Check out Agi's awesome pic/post about four ways to wear the universally flattering skater dress.

How to join Wardrobe Wednesday?

  1. Link in your specific blog post not just your general blog (or post a picture on the Facebook page);
  2. Link to a post about clothes - that's what we're here for;
  3. Please follow the blog (Bloglovin, Google Friends or Facebook) and add a link back here so other people can come over and see people's clothing posts too - the old fashioned way or grab a button; and most of all
  4. Be encouraging and visit people - leave a comment now and again too everyone loves to get encouragement.
