Emerson Fry: Spring/Summer 2015

{The Drop Shoulder Coat in Granite}

Season after season, I fall in love with everything Emerson Fry puts out and her new Spring/Summer 2015 Collection is certainly no exception. There are several pieces that I love– staples to invest in because you’ll wear them forever and they’re so versatile that you could wear them a million different ways. The collection, as we’ve come to expect from Emerson is super tight and cohesive. There is a focused and versatile color palette of mostly neutrals– black, white, gray. The pieces are all so timeless with easy, flattering silhouettes. In short, they are the kind of clothes you’ll wear forever. Each item in the collection, like the Emerson Fry girl is chic, effortless, and cool. This season, in particular, feels slightly edgier and more “downtown” than past collections. I personally gravitate towards simple, classic silhouettes when it comes to clothes and would prefer to take a crisp white shirt and pair of black pants and dress them up or down with my choice of shoes and jewelry rather than fuss with an “on-trend” outfit any day, so this classic collection is right up my alley!
