Sig Bergamin’s Chic Studio

I’m currently working on a special project involving beautiful fabrics, so I have been particularly in tune with inspiring textiles lately. As much as I love bold geometrics and classic patterns, I have really been vibing on hand-blocked Indian fabrics, brilliant Ikats, and other Eastern textiles. While they are gorgeous year-round, I think they are especially perfect in the warmer months. It’s hard to think of chic fabrics without having the work of Brazilian designer, Sig Bergamin come to mind. He is well known for his passion for vibrant colors in the form of fabrics and rugs. His rooms are incredibly stylish, yet they feel very personable and lived in. There is a coziness to each space he creates.

I had come across these images of Bergamin’s studio a while ago and fell in love with the architecture of the airy space. I love that the open loft has various distinct areas perfect for a design firm– work stations, tons of storage, a large conference table, and an inviting seating area for meeting with clients or for decompressing at the end of a stressful day. What better time to examine an inspiring workspace than at the beginning of a new week filled with possibilities? I hope you enjoy this tour! Do you like the homey feel of this work space?
