Ha, Jay called it. I wonder if Drake had these words ringing in his ears when everyone was so keen for the alleged Kendrick beef to pop off. I thought it was cool that Jay-Z addressed Drake directly in his verse, I know that agreeing to hop on a song of his is a co-sign in itself, but I thought it was a little extra show of respect, maybe not quite as a passing of the torch, but something close to that. Jay-Z had earlier said on his ‘A Star is Born’ song, ‘Drake’s up next, see what he do with it…’

Yo, I just got hard out distracted cos I heard the line, “Someone tell Maliah I’m on fire she should work tonight, call up King Of Diamonds and tell Chyna it’d be worth the flight,” and so I googled Maliah and have been watching her pole dancing videos for a good 15 minutes. woops. I just messaged my girls and was like, ‘Oi, we need to go to an Atlanta Strip Club, they look like a great time’. They were all keen. It also made me want to work on my flexibility and ass muscles. HOW DO THEY MAKE THEIR ASSES MOVE LIKE THAT!?!! THESE ARE THE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS IN LIFE. (In case you didn’t know, Maliah is the love interest in Drake’s ‘Find Your Love’ video, and an excellent exotic dancer. Chyna is Tyga’s baby mama and also by all accounts an excellent dancer.)

I really like this track, I just don’t have much to say about it. It’s just really nice to vibe out to. I especially like the part where he goes, “that’s when you start to laugh, saying I just want what I can’t have…”
