Welcome… Cass!

Woohoo! Another new addition to the blog. It’s gonna get a little crazy in here but the more the merrier. This is Laura here and today I’d like to introduce you to Cass! If you haven’t met Stacey yet, make sure you check out her introduction post as well. Cass will also be posting 2-4 times a month. Please give her a warm welcome!

Books are a series of quotes, strewn together to make an incredible journey.

At this stage in life, my favourite quote, as said by Robert Cormier is…

The beautiful part of writing is that you don’t have to get it right the first time, unlike say a brain surgeon.

My name is Cass and for me, reading and writing have been a massive part of my life, and in so many respects they have been a break from reality. I don’t fall in love with books because they are perfectly written, or because they comply with all of the literary rules, but I fall in love with them because of the adventure that they present. I try my hardest in life to be perfect, and reading and writing is my escape from that. I have a wide interest in books and what I enjoy reading changes depending on my mood or where I am at in life.

I absolutely love to hear what other people enjoy reading and the journey that a book has taken them on. I believe that different people can have a completely different experience from the same book, thus further explaining my interest in hearing what other people think of books.

This is me on a book level, stay tuned to meet me on a more personal level.
