I Could Never Pull That Off

Ladies and Gents~ I am shocked by how many times a day I hear someone say, “Oh I could NEVER pull that off”. I guess I was just never brought up with that mentality, or surrounded by it, so at first it was somewhat foreign and even shocking to me. So, I’m writing this post in hopes that, whether this is a common phrase in your vocabulary or not, you will be inspired to try new things. Now of course there is a balance in everything, but whatever you do, DON’T LIMIT YOURSELF. Now I’m not saying an 85 yr old woman should dress like a 17 yr old girl, or telling you to go shave your head just to do something fresh (I mean, unless if you want to, then go for it!) but I am reminding you that it is often the times when we step outside our zone of comfort that we are most rewarded. Maybe you’ve seen something you really like, but because it’s not “your style” you shy away. WHO CARES? If you like it, if you want it, then get it! We weren’t meant to be all the same or to be put in groups of sameness. Even if you’re wearing the ugliest outfit in the world to me, if you like it and don’t care, then I love it! Its your attitude that makes 75% of what your wear anyway, so make sure your wearing confidence and kindness. You might try something and not like it, well at least you tried. OR, you might try something and LOVE it and have found a whole new way to express yourself–FUN. I like fashion because it is another way to creatively express oneself–so why the heck limit it? Here are the Learn To Rock It conclusions: -Some personalities are more prone to certain styles but that doesn’t mean it can only be that style. -Why limit yourself? Leave that to other people. -You will find yourself rewarded in more ways than one by stepping outside your box. -Wear what you want because you like it, and wear it with confidence and watch and see your style grow by leaps and bounds. Here are some pics that make me want to do something different.
