Friday's Letters

Dear Niece, I just love you to death. You are the brightest, cutest 2 year old ever. Seriously I didn't know so much personality can be packed in such a little human being. Sitting out with the chickens just me and you or our random popsicle run to 7-eleven, you are so much fun! Dear Nephew, Can't wait to see more and more of your personality come out! You got the looks thats for sure, girls will be all over you in no time!! Dear Life, You are more insane and busier then ever lately. I feel like I need to slow down and take it all in before you just slip right past me. Dear Foster to Adopt Process, This week before our home study interview I almost had a panic attack, seriously. I couldn't sleep, the house was in perfect order and yet I still at early morning hours found something to scrub. Dear Self, Reminder for next time, don't freak out so much. Somehow, Someway it always works out. Dear Husband, During the early morning hours of our interview day when you were getting dressed for work and I popped up out of my sleep yelling, "Don't forget to throw the old strawberries away" and in fact scared the snot out of you, sorry for that. HAHA. It was nice to listen quietly in the other room while you did your portion of the interview, I think every wife should hear her husband talking so kindly about her and also just remember why they fell in love in the first place. Dear God, Thanks for the confidence in knowing that the decision to do foster care is the way you want us to go. I know that your hand had a part in guiding us down this long awaited road of starting our family and I can't wait to see what the future has in story for us! Dear Sister, I'm excited to start walking again! Getting healthy always takes a partner in crime. Dear Blog, Sometimes I forget how nice it feels to just spill my life out onto "paper".
