adios, 2014!

oh, 2014! it was the year of the horse! which is kinda perfect for me, you know? and gosh, i can't believe how fast it flew by! and how quickly our sweet baby girl has grown! it's kinda crazy how time goes once you have little ones with you to focus on. everything is just fast and slow all at once, i feel like! anyway, 2014... it was a good year, indeed!

we pancaked & jimmied in our house // said the saddest goodbye to our sweet doc // little minnie turned 6! // i spent a lot of time feeding my love language ;) // oh, we fed him rain or shine! // i sure savored the pretty days // and stayed cozy on chilly mornings // sweet maddalena hit 18 months!

oooh, the weather was amaze! aka. i clearly missed my calling as a weather girl. // i started onto a pretty great 4-leaf clover streak & madd fell in love with fuzzy dandelions // she also kept on honing those baby photography skills! // talked secrets of life :) // spent easter weekend with my boos in my favorite place // followed with some perfect days in paradise // and then my mommy joined in and the tropical glory continued!

maddalena and i had brunch with sweet denise, finally getting to meet in person! // my back yard gave me a pretty little surprise // we made clover chains on mothers day // we weddinged and basked and cheersed and strolled and flowered and popsicled! // and enjoyed back yards & best friends // and had aaaall the summertime vibes on memorial weekend

the countdown to 2 began // we enjoyed fun fourth festivities // we picked wild blackberries on the farm (my fav!!) // there was no shortage of flowers and sass and sandals and horses and summertime food // sweet little hands caught their first fireflies // our tiny horse lover got an early birthday present // aaand had her first bouncy castle experience! // she got excited for her "bit-day" // and turned two. years. old! // then my daddy had a b-day, too, so naturally, we pooled it

maddalena loved her birthday camera upgrade, ha! // we got to have breakfast with precious sophie and her new husband, george, aaaaall the way from australia!! // we cooked with rosemary, basked in evenings, marveled at the supermoon // i soaked up pretty afternoons with casey // and a sweet friend took the most beautiful and dear to my heart photos for us <3

we labor day-ed the only way we know how // celebrated friends and love at the most beautiful sunset wedding downtown // had some dreamy polo horses come for a night at the farm // remained terrible at naptime ;) // maddalena officially saddled up! // we gave minnie a bucket bath & met a frog named hoppy // chalk painted half my mason jar stash! (still obsessed!) // loved us some sunsets // i rode my valiant steed into the enchanted forest

i shared a bobbie's date with my girl // we celebrated october birthdays // and went to steven's 10 year high school reunion on his birthday! // madd played outside in the hose in the amazing october weather // i saddled up my boy on a beautiful afternoon // loved all the littlest things with my best best peeps // fancied up some pretty golden pinecones! // and took our chilly princess trick-or-treating

we took mr. comet out for a ride! and maddalena was just dying to go over her first "jump" // voted, saw a cabin, met some kittens // had such fun enjoying fall on the farm with our best girls // told the many tales of princess rosey // spent an afternoon with wonderful brittany and her sweet little lady!! (and that makes 3 more blog friends turned real friends in 2014! yay!!) // we put up our christmas tree! // aaand had yet another birthanksgiving holiday

we got into the chilly christmas spirit around here // and made a gingerbread house! // we visited my grandmother & enjoyed some favorite festivities // had a very merry christmas!! // and took our post-christmas trip to the cozy panhandle of florida!
