Spring Fashion Trends That Won’t Break The Bank

Spring is almost here and we can feel the seasons changing. The colder weather should soon start to subside, and we will begin to dress for slightly warmer weather that hopefully lies ahead. Spring is one of those unpredictable months. There can be brilliant sunshine one minute, and then rain and showers the next. The key to dressing for spring is to keep plenty of layers and accessories with you. This way you will be able to switch up any look in the blink of an eye.

Clothing – clothing needs to be as versatile as spring itself is. Prepare yourself for all weather by layering up your clothing. Light and delicate tops can be paired with long draping cardigans for a chic yet casual look. Think about coats that suit the weather conditions. There is a big trend for cute, brightly coloured raincoats at the moment. Fashion and beauty blogger Zoella was spotted wearing a bright yellow mack that caused a stir in the fashion scene. Everyone wanted one! Coats like these can be easily folded and placed inside your bag when not in use.

Footwear – Footwear for Spring can vary depending on the weather where you are based. Wearing flat pumps during the daytime is a foolproof option. Stores such as H&M are a good place to start. If the weather looks bad, then opt for some boots or wellies. If you are in a warmer climate, then open toe shoes may even be an option by now. This year the Pantone colour of the year is Marsala. This is a great colour to work with. You can find a good selection of flats and heels in this on-trend hue.

Bags – Spring bags should be roomy and chic. Balenciaga has some stellar examples this year. Designer Anya Hindmarch recently wowed the 2015 catwalks with a selection of seriously covetable cute bags though. This proved that there is still room on the fashion scene for those playful designs. The Moschino Barbie range is still selling, after all! Fashion is all about how you wear something, not always just the piece itself. You can pick up designer style pieces at budget friendly prices. Some people could even make a sleeping bag look fashionable though.

Jewellry and Accessories – Jewellery and accessories are important in finishing your spring outfit. You could choose to go for delicate and sweet necklaces and earrings. Items with a floral or nature-based theme in rose gold designs are on trend. There is always room for a killer statement necklace though. These are the perfect way to spice up any outfit and spring is the perfect time to get creative with your colour choices! Push the boat out and go for heavy, well-made pieces that will last through until summer if you want to get the most for your money. Most stores will have budget friendly pieces that won’t break the bank. A good tip is to look at the designer trends and then try to find a suitable match in stores. Spring style is all about being playful so you can let your creative side out when it comes to shopping this season’s looks! Have fun with it and let us know what you end up wearing.
