LOOK: BRIXTON, BABES

Yesterday I spent the afternoon in Brixton Village, South London. When I first moved to London I worked in Brixton for 3 months at a terrible job (if you ever want to know which is the worst beauty salon in London message me and I will tell you, serious slave labour vibes), which very much put me off the area as that job has gave me such negative associations with Brixton. I'm really glad I spent some time there yesterday as it really helped me appreciate what a great area it really is.

I dressed super casually, and love the crop t-shirt over the black dress look. I wore my Apres-Ski Saturn necklace, which I adore, and my new Zara bag.

Whilst shopping around I found the most amazing vintage gold metallic blazer. I'm all about statement blazers at the moment. They definitely make my usual black aesthetic pop!

Look out for an upcoming post where I will review the two places we had lunch yesterday - Wishbone and Honest Burgers (both were amazing) - and some of my other favourite spots around the Village.

I'm just about to reach my first blogging milestone and achieve part of one of my 13 Goals for 2013 (I will review my progress in June) which I am super excited about! I never started this blog for followers or even thinking that anyone other than my family and a few friends would read it, so I am always amazed at the support I have had and just want to say thank you! I'm trying to post more often, however, with a crazy busy full time job in PR, that is not always possible.

I hope you enjoyed, and keep an eye out for more Brixton love soon!
