From Princess to Mantrap

When I was in my primary school, my teachers used to show us a couple or three things that would resemble one thing as a part of their introduction of the lesson. I, the keenest observer of the class, began to notice what appeared to me as a magic that hypnotizes the majority to pay attention, and I thought - maybe, just maybe - doing it in this post would also tickle your mind to read the rest of it and not leave after reading the title.
The number 13? Meredith the cat? Glittery acoustic guitar?
Foyin, a fashion blogger, said: "her music resonates with my hopeless romance and teen angst. Just like her music, her fashion sense has matured with her. Lately, she’s straying from her usual elegance. I definitely look up to her as a style icon because she always looks seamless, classy and feminine, even in her day to day wear. It (her style) is always effortless chic."
"I am a huge fan of her," she added.
There's not a lot of Hollywood celebrities that I know who are kind of fixated on number 13 that it would even cause them to paint the two-digit number on either their left or right hand. As a matter of fact, there's one and only one celebrity who is greatly known by that. Not only that she was born on the 13th of December, but she also claims that 13 is and has always been her lucky number.
It's also funny how the spotlight can always be stolen by our favorite artists' pets from the artists themselves. Meredith, a gray-and-white feline, has been guilty of doing the self-same crime oftentimes. She's even had a twitter fan account that has around 8,500 followers. Yowzer!
Furthermore, how about the signature sparkly guitar that only she popularized? Nobody would ever think that each shining sparkle is actually a hole-sized Swarovski rhinestone. And to think that an acoustic guitar is not the size of the hand, it must cost someone quite a fortune!
For some of you, it might still be a puzzle who am I talking about. But I can ascertain that no one lives in a cave anymore not to know who actually she is, or be familiar with her at least - Taylor Swift.

Fashion-wise, who was she in the "Taylor Swift" era?

Sequins, soft fabrics (tulle), high hems - those are things we consider in buying prom cocktail dresses, right? Youthful and very feminine, that was so Taylor Swift 2006!

With our knowledge about how she was still young and how she didn't possess a voluptuous body type, it brought us to the notion that low-plunging V-necklines aren't always flirtatious. Sometimes, they are just Taylor Swift version 2006.

Who would forget about her clashing pairing of prom dress and cowboy boots?

If Taylor's life were a fairy tale, this album entitled "Fearless" must have been the fairy godmother of her hair! It brought her to complete change from her unkempt from-roots-to-ends curls to her signature hairstyle that if you would start browsing YouTube.com, you would realize how there's a bunch of "Taylor Swift Hair Tutorial"s - not to mention that you just did without actually going to YouTube.
Taylor's style way back to 2008 until the mid-2009 was a fusion of preppiness and femininity. Although not always noteworthy and remarkable, she still never failed to stun the crowd the way how she herself is already such a stunner.

Sparks Fly marked an epoch in Taylor Swift's style when her signature curls had begun being found tame in her beach waves and full bangs.

It appeared to me that it was rather a struggle for Taylor to give up the sparkly pieces and dresses; however, she finally came into being wise in choosing favorable cuts.

The low-plunging V-necklines that she used to rock during the eponymous album era were also long gone! In fact, the classicism of bateau necklines got under her way in the Speak Now era.

Red was nothing but a huge transformation for Taylor - from a charming fairy tale princess to an utterly glamorous mantrap. She couldn't go wrong with the choice of designer dresses which she was lately rocking.

On account of her late-2012 released album entitled "Red", in order to befit, it was obligatory for her to be found in a red dress that, to tell you, is such a knockout.

As her compositions began sounding like they came from a complete grown-up, she also began to realize that it was time to also grow up fashion-wise. Going back to basics like white and black is a good flying start to sophistication.
Taylor Swift, 23, is so over high school already. She has bid adieu to her high-school-good-girl self, and transformed to an edgy chick. There was an abundance of surprising twists that appear with her demure character such as how she was performing recently in bold-red-colored dresses with daring cuts, which caused to also an abundance of rumors how she is turning to a bad girl.
What are your thoughts on the whole transformation of Taylor Swift's fashion over the years?
