Gratitude List


Since yesterday was Remembrance Day, I think it’s only appropriate to express my gratitude and thankfulness to all the Veterans out there. With gratitude on my mind, let’s discuss it in more detail.

Gratitude is something I make sure to practice daily now. Sometimes I get a case of the “not good enoughs”. Something will happen and trigger those thoughts that I’m not doing enough, not thin enough, not active enough, not making enough money, and so on.

I’m sure at times, you can certainly relate to this predicament. It’s natural to compare, struggle with perfectionism, and having negative thoughts pop up.

To change my thought process, I’ve come to appreciate the act of gratitude. Gratitude can change the outlook we have on life, our attitudes, and how we act towards others. Begin to appreciate the little things in life, even though these things are small – they are also wonderful. Being grateful allows us to love our lives in this moment and appreciating everything we have, it can even make us appreciate our flaws.

With all that being said, here’s a few things from the weekend that are part of my gratitude list…
