Notable New Releases for the Week of November 3, 2014

Happy November! There are a lot of interesting new releases this week, especially if you’re a reader of nonfiction or cozy mysteries (fall is the best season for the latter, I always think). There’s also some intriguing historical fiction; I’m especially curious about Renee Rosen’s What the Lady Wants, a novel about department store magnate Marshall Field and his second wife, Delia Spencer. There’s also new work from Michael Connelly and Anne Perry in mystery, Meljean Brook in sci-fi/fantasy, Jessica Clare in romance, Claudia Gray and Gail Carriger in YA, and Christina Lauren in new adult. Nonfiction has work from Bill Nye, John Cleese, Martin Short, and Sophia Loren, among others. And some of the new-to-paperbacks include the second Fox and O’Hare novel from Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg, and Joanna Trollope’s take on Sense and Sensibility. Enjoy!
