We are home and adjusting well to life with two.

I think the second time around is easier in that we knew what to expect and already had some what of a routine with Brayden. Not that it's easy, I'm tired but naps help...and I've taken up Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
Brayden is doing well. He knows something is different. We lay them together and he is very curious. We let him use his senses to get to know her since he doesn't see well. My typical 'B never cries' has changed. He has been crying when he hears her cry. I think it's over stimulation for his system. Like any 'typical' kiddo he will just need an adjustment period. And big brother starts pre-k tomorrow, so excited!

I am doing well post c-section. I am still taking my codeine and ibprofin. I am resting and also trying to be active to get my body healed.
Nursing has been an adventure. I'll have a separate post on this. It is the most frustrating and most rewarding thing I have ever done. She lost her 10% of her weight in the hospital and had to see the pediatrician the day ofter discharge for a weight check and had gained an ounce back. Last night we found our nursing groove and things have been great since (fingers crossed). She has another weight check tomorrow (Monday) and I am meeting with lactation at my peds office just to make sure we are doing everything we can to make this a successful journey.
If your dying for more pics I have seriously bombarded Instagram (heather1209).
