MaxFactor Creme Puff Blush: A Marbled Beauty That's Easy-To-Contour

If there's one product that can compete with the number of lipsticks within my collection, then it's definitely blusher. Even though many of the shades are incredibly similar, it's the difference in texture and tone that I love to shake up and change on a daily basis. From creamy peachy tones, to bolder pinks and flushes of berry, the difference a blush or bronzer can make to your complexion is immense. After dabbling in many peachy tones over the winter, I've rediscovered my love of pink shades and a touch of bronzing - thanks to these adorable and easy-to-use Creme Puff Blush pots from MaxFactor. The multi-tonal pigments blend effortlessly for a gorgeous flush of colour that can be built-up and blended with ease.

The finely milled, marbled finish features three different shades so the result isn't too one-dimensional or harsh on the skin; this also allows you to build up colour and ensure a seamless result - all the colours blend effortlessly with my natural skin colouring so I don't feel 'overdone'. The powder is really lightweight and easy to buff into cheeks too, making even subtle contouring a doddle. I've been using the two shades below in tandem for a delicate contour and flush of colour on my cheeks; the combination of tones ensures the result isn't too drastic and works even on porcelain skin.

I love the fact that the blush pans also contain flecks of gold and subtle highlighter tones to ensure skin looks fab. These are essentially your blush, highlighter and bronzer in one, making them fab for popping in your bag or taking away on holiday. As someone who doesn't often dabble into the world of MaxFactor, these have left me pleasantly surprised - especially as they're a great alternative to the expensive Hourglass palettes that are currently de jour. The soft texture, cute pots and subtle colours make these a firm favourite; I've barely reached for another blush (other than my fave Benefit Majorette) in the last few weeks. If you're in the market for something new this spring, then it's well worth checking out the tones available.

The MaxFactor Creme Puff Blush is available in six shades, priced £8.99 each. Two two featured above (and my personal favourites) are 25 Alluring Rose and 05 Lovely Pink.
