Bomb Ombre Color! Lace Wig by Uniwigs Review

Finally after talking about blonde, ombre and highlighting for what seems like YEARS I’ve found the perfect look to get a lil funky with my hair color but still wearable. This unit is courtesy of Uniwigs, a wig company I have worked with previously. However, since my last Uniwigs review they have added glueless cap units to their inventory. Previously, I had to add my own clips and elastic to the wig since I absolutely NEVER glue down any of my lace wigs (a question I am commonly asked).

I cannot be more in love with the color! The subtle shift from dark to auburn blonde without any harsh lines or dramatic color changes makes it a beautiful ombre unit. This is MUCH better than my last attempt at blonde hair right? I know. I just couldn’t get with that last unit. It wasn’t quite “me”. This on the other hand, YASSSSSS! You can get a much better look at the unit details and color in the video:

Although it is sitting a bit high off my head, after I do my normal wig prep routine, the hair will lie flat and this is going to be my new go-to unit. Another thing I love about this color is that its seasonless. It looks just as good for fall and winter as spring/summer! The medium toned blond with the dark roots works perfectly. As a side note, although the cap construction is “glueless” as you saw in the video, it is also a full lace unit which means I can part it literally anywhere. I’ll have a full post coming soon about why that is an advantage for wig newbies.
