Harbour Island Trip Recap & Guide

I’ve been dreaming about our recent Harbour Island vacation a lot lately and realized that I haven’t shared a recap of the trip. So here goes… There are a LOT of photos, but there are so many cute things to share. I’m actually showing restraint, believe it or not.

Once again we stayed at The Dunmore because it’s Heaven. I really can’t recommend it enough. It’s cozy with only 14 cottages and a handful of residences, but beautifully designed. Everyone there is so welcoming, too.

Much of our time was spent laying under the umbrella reading.

The sand is PINK! Harbour Island is famous for it.

The island’s shopping scene is really great, too. My favorites include Miss Mae’s, Shine, Blue Rooster, and India Hicks’ Sugar Mill. There are also a lot of roadside basket and jewelry stands.

I already have the large straw pom pom tote or I would have snagged that smaller fringe and pom pom tote.

This is our little cottage.

The Dunmore has a great pool area that we would hit up late afternoon for more reading, some laps, and backgammon.

Again, my lemlem coverup.

The island is adorable with cute beach cottage scenes sprinkled all over.

I finally got to wear my new white eyelet Shoshanna beach dress while I was there, too. Definitely one of my favorite things that I brought on the trip! I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it.

So pretty, don’t you think? I really want to frame this last picture! Here’s a little Harbour Island guide!
