Studio Ilse

This week it is Stockholm Furniture Fair and the guest of honour this year is Ilse Crawford. I am so impressed by Ilses work and her ability to always bring a warm and human touch to everything she does and her unmistakenly sense of mixing furniture and materials. Today I have both listened to her lecture at the fair and attended the launch of Studio Ilses brand new product range for Ikea (which was amazing and I hope to show more from on the blog tomorrow). The Ikea collection was launched at the lovely hotel Ett Hem where I ended up in the kitchen with a very nice conversation over lots of tea (and chocolate cake) with Ilses husband Oscar.. Thank you Ilse, Oscar, Ikea and Ett hem for a very intimate, warm and inspiring day!

Studio Ilse has designed the lounge area at the entrance of Stockholm Furniture Fair where she wanted to make it feel like as if she has brought a piece of her studio to Stockholm.
