“It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!”

Last week, a very exciting email popped up in my inbox. Harrod's wanted me to take a look at their Christmas range and sent me the most luxurious, Swarovski Elements glass baubles to review. Luxurious being an understatement.

Each winter white bauble is made of pure glass, hand decorated and embellished with beautiful Swarovski elements. They also come presented in a sturdy yet elegant box, lined in a pale blue satin. While the baubles themselves are delicate and dainty, they're bold enough to make a pretty statement and stand out amongst the other ornaments that will adorn your Christmas tree. Although it is certainly possible to decorate a tree nicely on a budget it's always worth spending a little extra on a few, unique ornaments as they will make your tree that bit more special, adding a touch of luxury that will last you years to come. I can see these baubles being the kind that get handed down from generation to generation and hope that my future children will admire them as they are growing!

We have decided to go for a white and silver theme in the living room while our traditional red and gold tree will take pride and place in the dining room, this year. Some people love to go all out (tinsel and all!) with the Christmas decorations; I prefer to keep it simple. I've found that simplicity makes for a clean look that is easy to build upon and around. These baubles will be the foundation of my white and silver collection and I'm super excited to find and match new, festive decorations to them.
