I'm so excited to bring you these photos because these are the first ones from my new Nikon!! The clarity on these photos (well, before I added filters) is amazing! I seriously can't believe how far added megapixels can take you. Haha. I'm really enjoying using it and I hope you will enjoy the new photos! PS. This was before I found the remote for my camera so my 4 year old took these photos. Umm..amazing!
This particular day I thought it would be fun to do the photo shoot in a historic cemetery in Oregon City. It has such amazing headstones with epitaphs that really resonate. There's one I love so much, that I'm thinking of getting the wording tattooed on my arm. I love it. Maybe that's morbid, but I always find peace in cemeteries.
I found this sailor blouse last year when I first visited Portland to look for a house. It is an instant favorite and I thought mixing the blue with the black would make for a nice color combination. What do you think?
