“Smooth” Skin

People often comment about how “smooth” my skin looks. But in reality, I, naturally have dry skin. Really dry to a point where I need to use some steroid-based-cream to fix it. Yes,for those smarty-pants, it’s called Eczema. A little bit more serious than just dry skin. It usually attacks my limbs, neck and face especially around my eyes. But with dry skin, it doesn’t mean I can solve the problem with a blab of Baby Oil. That’ll give me pimples!

See my dilemma?

I’ve got to be very careful with what I put on my face. Nothing too dry, nothing too oily.

And after a few rounds of trial and error, here’s the perfect combination for my face

Steaming Hot Water – Kill the germs inside a growing pimple!

Eucerin Facial Wash – This acts as a make-up remover too. This way, I don’t need to use anything oily to remove the make-up on my face.

Eggocort – Eczema cream that is light and safe for my face, prescribed by a pharmacist

Olay Moisturizer – 2 small dots spread evenly on my face.

For the finishing touch, I put on a light layer of liquid foundation from MAC, a hint of blusher from Lancome, smooth lines of liquid eye-liner from Silky Girl and that’s it!

I’m ready to go!

Of course, we each have different types of skin.. But the basics is that, for as long as you keep your skin clean, healthy and fresh, you’ll be fine. So drink lots of water, eat nothing too oily/spicy and make sure you wash it properly before going to sleep.

PS: I don’t think vegetables are good for my skin. They give me pimples. I swear!
