In the last couple of years, the contemporary art market has also taken over the Asian World. Extending boundaries of contemporary art, Art Stage Singapore will take place between the 22nd and the 25th of January. Kicking off for the fifth time on the international annual visual art calendar, the fair connects the world to the best of Asian art. Becoming a flagship cultural event in the region, the fair featuring 130 galleries from 29 countries continues to grow and innovate on a yearly basis. Coinciding with Singapore Art Week, a visit to the fair is surely a promising trip for all art-lovers from all around the world.

Ps: Be sure to take a look at works by Zul Mahmod – an emerging artist known by his innovative approach to sound art. His installation at Yeo Workshop’s booth, “No Substance” will investigate an imaginary city with a first-world infrastructure but yet lacks a soul.

Geçtiğimiz yıllar içerisinde, Asya da uluslararası sanat piyasasındaki yerini sağlamlaştırmayı başardı. Modern sanatın sınırlarını genişletmeyi kolayca başaran Art Stage Singapore bu yıl 22-25 Ocak 2015 tarihleri arasında gerçekleşecek. Beşinci defa düzenlenecek olan fuar, dünyayı Asya sanatının en iyi örnekleri ile birleştirmeyi hedeflerken; 29 ülkeden 130 galeriyi ağırlayacak. Her geçen yıl büyüyen fuar, bu yıl Singapore Art Week ile aynı zamanda gerçekleşerek, bütün sanat-severler için de tatmin edici olmayı garantiliyor.

Ps: Fuara yolunuz düşecek olursa, ses sanatına yenilikçi bir yaklaşım getiren Zul Mahmod’un işlerine de göz atmayı unutmayın. Yeo Workshop’un standında yer alacak olan “No Substance” isimli işiyle, sanatçı modern bir altyapı sahip ama ruhsuz bir şehri ele alacak.
