I've been completely obsessed with getting my design work done lately so I'm afraid my blogging has taken a major backseat until all of my deadlines next month! I've got a spare afternoon today so thought I'd gather together some of the bits and pieces I've been lusting after for the upcoming Summer season...
First up are a few items from River Island which I've only seen online and can't seem to find in any of the stores! I love this River Island blue lace peplum top, it would look great with some white skinny jeans and a chunky heel like these River Island wooden block sandals. I actually tried to pick these up today as they're sold out online but no shops seem to have any left in a size 5. I'm also in love with this River Island floral coat which doesn't come cheap at £95. I'm completely torn over this coat because as much as I love the print, it could be quite limiting to wear and for £95 I would definitely want to get a lot of wear out of it!
Next up is some pieces from Topshop including these nude/ white chunky Fernando sandals which I tried on in store today. I recently got back from Marbella and really struggled to find some nice sandals before I went, so these are definitely being snapped up before I return in July. I love chunky/ cleated soles at the moment but the fact they're white makes them incredibly difficult to clean! I always loved the shape and fit of Topshop Joni jeans and this stone washed beige pair would be a great addition to my growing collection. I love beige/ cream trousers at the moment as I think they really lighten up any outfit and give an immediately smart look. I also love these Topshop floral Mom shorts for the holiday season, I'm not usually a huge fan of denim shorts as I find them to be quite unflattering but I think the floral print on these would make them more wearable. I'm also loving this Whistles wide brim hat for the holiday season, I don't tend to wear hats on holiday but I think this Summer I'm going to try and protect my hair more to prevent the brassy tones appearing.
I'm graduating this July and I've already been on the look out for the perfect graduation dress. I've come across this Reiss dress which has a polo neck style with a pencil skirt fit. The colour scheme is right up my street with the cream/ beige combination, unfortunately the £245 price tag isn't so I can keep on dreaming! I'm also loving this Asos velvet choker which is actually by the Rock n Rose brand featured on the website. I love choker style necklaces at the moment and this stone pendant style necklace is different to any others I've seen on the high street. Lastly, I've been after a new evening bag for some time now and this Asos fringe bag would be the perfect choice for the upcoming season. I love the fringing detail and this lime/ yellow shade would go with so many items in my wardrobe whilst also adding a splash of colour to any simplistic outfits.
