Yesterday was a doozy of a day.

Burley and I went in for a routine post due date appointment at our Midwifery Center, and our little guy was pretty much fast asleep during his ultrasound.
Because of that, we had to undergo a few more tests over a 7 hour span, and needless to say, ended up emotionally and physically exhausted, and possibly a bit delirious. At the end of it all I vaguely remember dancing to

Salt N Peppa’s “shoop” in our hospital room, right before we attempted to sneak out of the labor and delivery ward unnoticed (Mission Failed). When all was said and done, the baby is 100% healthy and excited to be born. Ok, the healthy part was determined by the doctors, and the excited part was determined by me, the momma.

Today… We are in full natural induction mode, and I’m feeling like the time is near. I will keep you posted for sure, as I always do.
My sister is convinced that I will have a live feed in my birthing room with me, because that is just how I role. We shall see.
Psyche… That is not happening. You’re welcome.
