Life Lately #2

We were out to dinner with my parents the other night and my Dad mentioned that he loved "that one post". A little vague maybe? "You know, that one about your family". That narrows it down. After some prodding I figured out it was the Life Lately post I did a couple weeks ago. I realized that I loved it too! It not only documented what life looked like at this moment, but it also included a narrative so that I can always know what it was we were doing in these moments that seen ordinary today, but will make up our life when we look back on them.
Here is what life looks like lately...
Kennie does not seem to be amused by my over increasing obsession with bows.

We wen to LEGOLAND with Jen and her family...Kennedy and I spent most of the day trying not to sweat to death in the blaring heat.

Gavin decided that headbands were not as much fun as he thought they would be. He also decided that they were much more flattering on his baby sissy.

We enjoyed our last days of Summer morning cuddles. Having to get Gavin to the bus stop at 7:30 a.m. does not really leave time for cuddles.

Anytime I'm have time to shower AND blow dry my hair it's a cause for celebration in my book.

I ate this, it was amazing!

Kennie's "milk muscles" aka rolls, are coming along don't you think?

This was the boys' idea of putting their toys where they belong. Not so much.

We embarked on our very first week long family vacation ... without a rearview mirror.
First stop was Palm Springs

Then we hit the Lake.

We loved every second of our family time on the water.

The 2013 family vaca concluded at Knott's Berry Farm. Gav rocked his first "roller coaster" ride.

We actually managed to capture a photo with all five of us in it.

Kennedy turned 2 months old.

2 showers in 1 month! Party time!

This handsome guy started Preschool the sequel.

We now have smiles and giggles from this little one.

Lennie and I celebrated 8 years of wedded bliss.

Our Disneyland passes are finally not blocked out anymore so we have been hanging with Lightning quite often. Gavin now has his very own pass like a big boy.

You may notice that there are not many photos of Dylan. That is because he is going through a stage where he is either crying, screaming or whining. A stage I am looking forward to not remembering.
