Whenever it comes to nail polishes, I can’t help but be fiercely loyal to Chanel. Their varnishes might not last much longer than two days (or sometimes four, if I’ve been patient enough to paint three coats), but there’s something irresistible about their boxy bottles and black Chanel stamped lid. It helps that Chanel’s carefully edited selection of posy floral and soft pinks is practically unrivalled, and I’m yet to find any other formula that looks quite as natural against my skin.

They might not be the cheapest way to get your beauty fix (clocking in at just shy of $40 a pop), but I’m yet to find a quicker way to banish those work/life stresses than a trip to the Chanel counter. And that besides, who doesn’t love a little bit of Chanel in their life?
