Free Printable Chalkboard Labels for Toy Organization

Hey hey! Whew, I was knee-deep in LEGOs and trains this week BUT we’ve made such progress in our playroom! I’ll share our toy organization tips very soon, but first I wanted to give you these FREE printable chalkboard labels for your toy organizing endeavors. Simply print, cut, and laminate. I took them to the copy center at Staples for laminating. They actually used these cool lamination ‘pockets’ which make the end product laminated on one side and when you peel back the yellow backing it’s adhesive on the other.

It wasn’t what I expected, but they must know me better than I know me because THEY. ARE. PERFECT. for this purpose. No need to tape the labels, I simply slapped them on our bins. Go Staples!

They even stick to our cloth sided bins.

And the round bins.

Bin, bins, bins. (Can you pay my bins, pay my telephone bins…)(sorry for the random Destiny’s Child reference, all this organizing is making me loopy).

There’s even labels for a bin for your Instruction manuals and ‘Lost Pieces’ bin (ya know, where the lost pieces hang out until I have time to find homes).

To print, you’ll click on either the link or the photo and download to your desktop.

If possible, click ‘fit page’ to reduce the white border. As evidence of my loopy-ness from organizing, I just tried to click ‘print’ ON THIS PHOTO as I was editing it. Someone take away my blogging license. #TiredBlogger

And print!

Here you go! Remember, you can click on either the link OR the photo and it should show up as a .pdf, then download it to your desktop.

These 5 sets of printable labels cover most of the categories of toys in our home. If there’s some missing that you need, you can upload a chalkboard background to PicMonkey (I used the one so kindly offered at How to Nest For Less) and make your own using the EraserDust font to match. Or if you gently and kindly point out the ones I missed in the comments I’m happy to add more categories.

Don’t forget, you can find ALL the posts in our 31 Day Declutter and Organize EVERYTHING Challenge here, it’s not too late to join in!

OKAY! Back to the trenches. My kids both had early dismissal today despite any visible snow, so my crew is happily helping me organize everything. If you liked this post it would mean the world if you could share it! And snap pics of your newly labeled toy bins and share on our Facebook Page so I can give you virtual high-5′s. Happy organizing!
