Introducing the MR Writer Prompt and Subsequent Club

Starting today, Man Repeller is instituting a new initiative called The MR Writer’s Club. It will serve as a call to action to have you, the genius-ass-motha-fuckas who populate the comment feed on this website with golden sprinkles of intellect and witticisms (or not!), submit a full-length story on a topic that we will assign every Friday henceforth, for publication the following Saturday. If you want to liken it to Modern Love, you can but let’s be real here. This is much more like Modern Dove

Up today: We want to know, in 500 words, what is making you happy right now and why. All submissions should be e-mailed to [email protected]. If you’re feeling particularly transparent, though, feel free to deliver a synopsis in the comments below. And if you’re working on your story and feel inclined to Instagram about it, use the hashtag #manrepellerwritersclub so we can offer moral support.
