Women on a mission! Antipodium SS15

Final SS15 LFW coverage post for me. You may have noticed they were all presentations. I didn’t not love any of the collections from the catwalk shows, but for photography purposes – style.com, vogue etc are better suited for that type of coverage. I tend to say what catwalk collections I like over twitter and instagram. Bloggers I always feel, do a fantastic job of covering and photographing the detail of a presentation. I will always check out blogs over mag sites for the ones I haven’t attended in person (or invited too. *cough* Sophia Webster *cough*).

Utilitarian‘ seems to be the main buzzword this fashion month – with designers opting for practical (but still beautiful) designs. I have always thought people look far more stylish wearing clothes they are comfortable in.

The ‘women on a mission’ Antiopodium SS15 presentation was held at the light and bright Swiss church on Endell street. Models rotated pedestals with light-orbs floated above their heads for a futuristic feel. The rebel models were fully in character with moody faces and crossed arms. I actually felt quite intimidated when I went to take a photo of each of the models and they would shoot me a bitchy face…scary!

The Antipodium SS15 collection is one that I would 100% wear, rather than admiring from a distance. I love the pale green colour they used for pieces including a coat and a-line midi skirt – both my favourite pieces. Also for a fun piece to wear, the printed bomber jacket is top of my lust list.
