Happy New Year!

Happy 2015 lovahs! We spent the evening with some of our favorite people, but in order to see them we had to leave someone behind. That's right, I left my puppy alone for 3 hours last night and in the process my heart ached. He whined a bit as we exited and I thought seriously about canceling plans. But Erik and I both knew that Admiral needed/needs to slowly adjust to solitary confinement. Ok, that sounds horrible. What I mean is when Erik is working and I go for my morning jog he will be left alone for a short amount of time and I do not want my dog to become a nervous wreck every time I exit the house. Now that I have awkwardly attempted to defend my actions and work through my guilt let's get to the good news...our baby did so great alone! We got home and he was sound asleep on his bed. He also successfully went to the bathroom on his pee pad and ate some dinner! What a champ. All in all solid night and I am very excited about 2015, there are great things ahead with my two favorite guys. I hope your evenings were magical!
