I wore this...

...to the Cyndi Lauper 30th anniversary She's So Unusual Tour...
I wore:
1970s velour dress - Sugar Slax
Tights, Docs, hair flower and sunnies - Retail
misfit necklace - Black Heart Creatives

You know I never do free advertising (or any advertising, actually) but I cannot recommend Sugar Slax highly enough. Their stock is beautiful, they were delightful to deal with, the prices are reasonable and postage was super fast. I can't wait to show you the other gorgeous 1960s psychedelic dress I bought from them, as soon as it is warm enough to wear it.

...to romp about in the Botanic Gardens on the first day of Spring...
I wore:
1970s peasant skirt - Hipsley Lane
Tshirt, boots, hat and belt - Retail
Necklace and bracelets - Gifts
1970s Sunnies - Op shopped

...to tell you this story...

I've had the mini (below) for almost 30 years. It is one of my oldest vintage pieces (as in I've had it the longest, not that the item is the oldest) and is quite faded and delicate.

I couldn't believe when I found
this almost new maxi version, with the original belt, in beautiful condition, for an absolute bargain price at last Saturday's Fash n Treasure market. I hope I'm still wearing it in 30 years, when I'm 73!

I wore:
1970s cotton maxi - Fash n Treasure
Bag - Gift from my sistercousinwife Helga
Sunnies - Op shopped
Hair flower - Retail

...to work...
I wore: 1970s Italian dress - Audrey Scarlett Vintage Hat, boots, sunnies, tights - Retail 1970s satchel - Op shopped

...to make art...
I wore: 1970s maxi and sunnies - Op shopped 1940s petit point bag - Vintage Fair Hair flowers - Gift from my darling Helga Boots - Retail

...for a lady date with a beautiful friend...

I wore:
1970s pin-tucked cotton and crocheted maxi - etsy
Boots, flower and sunnies - Retail
Earrings - Gift
Hat - Op shopped

...to work, today...
I wore:
Striped skirt, shoes, sunnies - Retail
1970s velvet jacket - Op shopped
1980s earrings - Gift
misfit necklace - Black Heart Creatives

It's been a weird winter. Super bastard massive weird, actually. I'm enjoying the early days of Spring, and I might have some news to share soon and some adventures in the near future.
And nothing is better than adventures!
