Beauty: Preview OPI Nordic Collection F/W 14

In questo momento vi starete godendo un pò di relax in vacanza, ma con un occhio sempre pronto a scoprire le prossime tendenze AW14 e a solleticare la nostra curiosità ci pensa OPI con la preview della nuova collezione Nordic.

You are all probably relaxing on holiday lately, but I’m sure you’re still looking out for the new FW14 trends. And here comes OPI with the preview of their new Nordic collection.

Ispirata alle cromie incantevoli della Finlandia, ai fiordi blu della Norvegia e alle case coloratissime di Copenhagen, la collezione Nordic by OPI porta sulle unghie e sulle dita dell’autunno/inverno 2014, i colori di un mondo dove i contrasti danno vita a sfumature cromatiche uniche. Questa nuova collezione di 12 lacche per unghie è composta da una palette di colori che ricordano le spezie, come la cannella, oppure il caldo e avvolgente whisky fino ad un inedito color blu-viola rubato al cielo scandinavo e a ricchi colori carichi di luce come l’arancio, il rosa e un verde acqua scuro.

Inspired from the enchanting colors of Finland, blue fjords from Norway and super colorful little house from Copenhagen, the Nordic collection by OPI brings to your nails and fingers unique colors and shades. This new collection is made of 12 nail polishes, with colors that remind of spices like cinnamon, or warm and cozy whisky, all the way to a brand new purple-y/blue (the color of the Scandinavian sky) and bright oranges, pinks and a dark aqua shade.

“Mentre stavo pensando alle shade della Collezione Nordic, ho mangiato focacce alla cannella e bevuto del glogg, ho scattato fotografie delle luminosissime painted house, ed ho ammirato con meraviglia la topografia della regione: dalle luci nordiche e dal sole di mezzanotte, fino ai fiotti di lava ed ai profondi fiordi. Tutti questi diversi elementi si sono riuniti per ispirare una altrettanto variegata gamma di colori che catturano l’estetica della regione
nordica.” ricorda Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Co-Fondatrice e VP di OPI.

“While I was thinking about the shades from the Collezione Nordic, I ate cinnamon buns and drank some glogg, I took some pictures of the bright painted house, and I admired the amazing topography of this region: from Nordic lights and midnight sun, all the way to lava streams and deep fjords. I combined all these different elements to create a unique color palette which represent the aesthetic of this Nordic region.” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI’s Co-Founder and VP.

I contrasti sono stati anche i protagonisti delle passerelle autunnali e con così tanta scelta di colori la Collezione Nordic rende facile sperimentare nuovi look per le unghie e creare un proprio stile personale.
Adoro i colori di Nordic, già immagino come abbinarli ad un maglione e ad un bicchiere di vino nelle fredde serate, e poi i nomi degli smalti Opi sono sempre divertenti e ispiratori! Voi quale preferite?
