[ OUTFIT ] Do It Yourself

My recent crafty streak has resulted in making a couple of random things but amongst all, this wool skirt and crochet snood are by far my proudest babies. Ok, to be honest the skirt was done with some help from my sewing class instructor but considering this is my first sewing project, it looks pretty legitimate, doesn't it? While I was wondering around Queen West, Toronto a couple of weekends ago, I found an adorable yarn store. Even though the Winter season was almost over, I could not resist myself from buying this perfectly textured and beautifully colored yarn. The best part was when I was going to buy only three rolls to fit my budget, the owner was kind and generous enough to gift me an extra roll so I could make it big enough to wrap twice! Lucky me :D
