Lindi Skin Care Review

Maybe I’m getting old. Maybe it’s just the winter we had, but for some reason this year my skin is dry and gross. I don’t know why. I drink a lot of water. I don’t take super long hot showers. I moisturize occasionally, although not daily. But this year my face and hands are especially feeling the wrath of the outside cold weather and the moisture-less heat of indoors.

But then a box of Lindi Skin products arrived on my door. Admittedly, I’m always hesitant to try new products on my face – what if something goes wrong and I have an allergic reaction? What if the product makes me face worse instead of better? Well, with Lindi I had no need to worry. Lindi Skin was born in 2003 as a skincare line specifically meant for those of us with compromised skin. The company claims “our safe, gentle, clinically-proven line of skincare is unlike anything you’ve ever tried.” and I would have to agree. So, now I have a new nightly skin care regiment, which includes the products below and has already brought about some great results.

A few thoughts on the Lindi Products I tried:

Lindi Face Wash – my previous face wash had been leaving my face feeling dry and tight after a simple cleanse. This does the opposite. My face feels refreshed and clean, without the dryness or the tightness. It’s a non-sudsing wash, which might make you question if it is working, but it is. (Besides the more I read, the more I realize non-sudsing products, of all sorts, are the way to go.)

Lindi Lavender Facial Serum – this is my favorite product from Lindi. It smells divine, it goes on smoothly and it feels amazing! The non-oily serum spreads easily across my face and neck area and it immediately feels like it is working. Whether I put it on at night before going to bed or in the morning before beginning my makeup routine, it never leaves my face looking shiny or feeling oily! And did I say it smells amazing? Because it does. It smells heavenly.

Lindi Eye Hydrator – I’m not sure if I am at a point in my life yet where I need or would see results from a product like this. But I have been applying it every couple days around my eyes before bed. It goes on easily and feels good. Can’t say that I have seen any marked changes but if it is anything like the other products I’m sure it works near miracles for those in need of a lot of eye hydration.

Lindi Lip Balm – I haven’t used lip balms or chapsticks or any kind in years, not since I went to a presentation that pointed out those products often are actually dehydrating instead of nourishing. But this winter my lips have been cracked so I’ve reverted back to giving them some comfort. This lip balm goes on easily and doesn’t feel heavy. I’ve used it at night before bed and have noticed a difference the following morning – by that point my lips feel less dry.
