#TBT Style Icon with Boohoo.com

Everyone has a style icon- someone who has great style that they admire, look up to, aspire to be. For some, it is someone from the past and others, it's current.

For as long as I can remember, my style icon has been Jessica Alba. Something about her style seems so effortless, which is something I would love to achieve with my own personal style! She is also a Mom, which is something I obviously relate to. The fact that she is a Mom, still has a sense of style, and that style is actually functional (meaning a non-celebrity could totally wear it on a normal day) is reason enough to be my style icon!

She makes recreating her style so easy too, because she seems to wear pieces that an everyday woman would have in her closet, or at least have something similar! After going through picture after picture of her I found the outfit that I knew I wanted to recreate. Not only does she wear a super cute outfit while in Mommy mode, but she wears it twice. Hello and welcome to my world! Not every day you see a celeb repeat an outfit!

Knowing boohoo.com had such an extensive (and affordable) dress selection, I got to shopping! I ended up settling on this dress because like Jessica, I want to be able to wear it again. I don't have anything in my closet with a shoulder cut out so I figured why not give it a try? I also really liked this dress, this one, and this one- they are all pretty similar to Jessica's look and could totally be worn again and styled several ways. Also, because it was literally 20 degrees with about 20 mph winds, I opted for a beanie hat to top off my look!

If you haven't yet, check out boohoo.com's website- one thing I look for when I shop is whether or not it's affordable (which you all know by now) and whether or not I can wear it more than one way. Boohoo's selection is great because I can check both of those off of my list, particularly with their dresses. I personally love the maxi dresses- my go to for warmer months!
I love how well my outfit came together so easily so I could recreate Jessica's look. She is such a style inspiration to me- I would take one of everything in her closet!
