SHOPPING: FJALLRAVEN / NATIVE SHOES

Seasons in New York are extremes. It’s no news for anyone living here unless you are me. I’m in a constant denial ! For instance, I naively thought that buying winter boots in August would help me prepare for and accept the cold, sleet, snowstorms, and the 5 hours of daylight but I dramatically failed again. So here we are, deep into winter, forced to face the undeniable truth: Winter is here! It’s no secret, Fjallraven is my favorite outdoor brand. Their products are technical and have the practicality that we need without shouting it loudly. The G-1000, in-house fabric blend, used for most of their products, is super resistant and breathable. I also like that they stick to this Swedish style mix of minimalism, muted colour palettes and what we would now call “norm core”. OK, here are my picks for this season, a selection of fitted jackets and coats, that will keep you dry and warm anywhere you are.
