CINDERELLA

“You’ll have only ’til midnight, and then… on the stroke of twelve, the spell will be broken, and everything will be as it was before”.

Todas tenemos una princesa de Disney que es nuestra favorita; para mí siempre fue Cenicienta. Desde las canciones, los ratones que me parecían súper simpáticos, “Lucifer” el gato que era el más consentido de toda la casa y las hermanastras cantando más desentonadas que nadie en éste mundo el “canto al ruiseñor…”.

Aunque mi parte favorita era la del hada madrina, cuando cantando Bibidi Babidi Bú, convertía la calabaza en carroza, los ratones en caballos y Cencienta empezaba a girar y aparecía con su vestido y listísima para el baile. Por cierto, todavía me pregunto si algún día tendré un hada madrina que pueda darme ese mismo sistema todas las mañanas. Pero sobre todo, Cenicienta es una historia de esperanza, de pensar que las cosas buenas pueden sucederte, que los sueños se pueden hacer realidad… y que más te vale llegar a la hora que te dijo tu hada madrina o mamá a menos de que quieras arruinar tu vestido o perder un zapato!

Hoy es la premier de la película de Cenicienta en México y Swarovski además de estár detrás de la zapatilla de cristal (¿quién más podría estarlo?) tiene una edición especial de piezas inspiradas en la película. Estoy feliz de enseñárles ésta historia inspirada en Cenicienta y en esas piezas, en la que me sentí princesa aunque sea por unas horas…

We all have a Disney princess that is our favourite; for me, it has always been Cinderella. From the songs, the funny mouses, the spoiled cat “Lucifer”, to the awful singing skills of her step sisters.

Although my favourite part was the one with the fairy grand mother when singing “Bidibi Badidi Bu”, turned the pumpking into a float, the mouses into horses and Cinderella began to turn and ended more than ready, with the cutest dress, to go to the ball. By the way, I’m still waiting for my Fairy Godmother to help me each morning to get ready with the same system. But above all, Cinderella is a story of hope, of believing that good things can happen, that dreams come true… and of course, about punctuality, you must always obay your mom or your fairy grand mother and don’t be late unless you want to ruin your dress or lost a shoe!

Today is Cinderella’s screen play premiere and Swarovski is (of course!) behind the cristal shoe and it has also created a special edition of pieces inspired by the movie. I’m so happy to show you this story inspired by the movie and those pieces in which I felt like a princess at least for a few hours…
