Put your poles up in the air!!!

Far right: Emmy is wearing Wilma's Cable Hat in neon pink. Pattern can be purchased in my Etsy Shop.
The wind chills my nose, everything else is protected by goggles, a neck warmer and a helmet. I take big turns trying to make my "snakes" as pretty, as smooth and as good looking as possible. I'm not a great skier. I'm not a great sight on the hill. But I do get down, preferable blue slopes but red ones can also be fun.

I see my three kids taking off from the groomed hill into the powder, exploring tracks and jumps alongside the piste. They scream in delight. Fly high. Fall deep and sometimes it looks really really ugly and I hold my breath... But just as fast as they might have fallen, with arms and legs tossed in the air, they are soon up standing and taking off again. It is sure an advantage to be 130 cm/ 4 feet and 2 inches when falling as the fall is closer to the ground...

We keep going, always me behind my lot of kids, making sure no one is left behind. And so they stop on the top of a steep section to wait for me, with sticks up in the air like "bunny ears"... I think it more looks like spikes on a hedgehog, but it doesn't matter. This is the language of the Chickens. Poles in the air means Ciccarelli's right here! I can't miss them. With or without poles sticking up in the air. They are one of a kind my kids. And every day on the hill with my kids is a one of a kind day of fun. I think this was our last day for the season.

Kärlek
Annette
